Enduring Ink

Every tattoo tells a story: be it the loved one it memorializes, to commemerate an event in your life, how you got it drunk in Las Vegas, or why you don't want it anymore. Enduring Ink shares those stories from real people, with real ink. From simple line art to the most intricate and detailed work, no tattoo is realy complete without the story behind it.

There's a ton of books and websites out there about tattoos, but very few take the time to focus not only on the ink, but the person and the story behind it.

The end product of Endurink Ink will be an 11x11 art book, with photos of people's tattoos as well as their story. Each page will showcase the ink, and give a breif insight into the person, and their stories. Credit is given to the tattoo shop, if the participant can remember it and wishes to share.

Enduring Ink is a labor of love: the goal is not money. Any profit made from the book will go right back into Enduring Ink for future books, a better website, building a community, and eventually a gallery show and other plans. Other... secret plans to take over the world. Ok, not really, but seriously, all proceed will be going right back into the project.
